- 3 strips smoked bacon (thick cut, chopped)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp. fresh cracked black pepper
- 1/2 savoy cabbage (finely shredded)
- 1 large carrot (peeled cut into matchsticks)
- 1 Granny Smith apple (peeled, cored, and cut into matchsticks)
- 2 cups beef (braising liquid from, strained)
- 1 cup light brown sugar (packed)
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 2 tsp. dry mustard powder
- 1/2 tsp. ground red pepper (optional)
- 16 slider buns (or 8 standard sized buns)
