Note: use a lot less butter - as is the result is too rich and buttery, I can't eat more than one in a sitting.
"Golden brown" is already a little burnt.
Aim for a more beach-sand brown as in the picture.

Wouldn’t use this recipe again. The shortbread was extremely dry and I ended up tossing it out as it was pretty bad. Could have been something that I did wrong, but I still wouldn’t use this recipe again.

I would definately make it again. I did however, forget the salt, which seemed like it turned out fine, maybe because I used salted butter.
