- 1 Tbsp. flat leaf parsley (chopped, otherwise known as Italian parsley)

- 1 3/4 lb. ground lamb (see note above)

- 3/4 lb. cremini mushrooms (quartered)
- 1 yellow onion (medium, chopped)
- 4 large carrots (chopped)
- 4 cloves garlic (large ,chopped)
- 1 1/2 cups chicken stock (or vegetable stock)
- 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. marmite (see headnote above)
- 1 tsp. kosher salt
- 3/4 tsp. ground pepper
- 1/2 tsp. dried ground thyme
- 1 cup corn kernels (fresh, frozen or canned)
