It turned out pretty good. I sliced up a couple of regular shallots and about a tbs of garlic, a cup of shitake mushrooms, and cooked some chow mein noodles. Scalded the garlic with the scallions and mushrooms. Plated the noodles topped with the mushroom/scallion/garlic mix and topped that with the slices of tuna topped with sliced green onions and roasted black and white sesame seeds.

Didn’t have sherry vinegar so used champagne vinegar. Marinated for about an hour. Tuna was tasty. I added mushrooms like someone else suggested.

This was so simple but absolutely delicious. I added mushrooms to the shallots and chillis in the pan and poured it over the tuna .With spicy noodles, it was gorgeous.
