absolutely amazing and tender!! If you want a sweet balance, brine the brisket in apple juice overnight and then add a cup and a half of apple juice before cooking!

Delicious! I always ate other people’s brisket at holidays, but thought it was too challenging for me. I gave it a shot today and this recipe turned out fantastic! I hate to toot my own horn, but it was one of the best homemade briskets I’ve had.

It was ok but tasted like a pot roast I guess I was hoping for a more traditional brisket flavor stupid on my part. It was tender but took about 14 hours to get there could have been the meat as well

My husband said it was the best brisket i ever made! This is my new go to recipe. I didn't add the cayenne pepper and it still had a ton of flavor.
