Yum!!! Next time I will use less canola oil for sautéing, you don’t need that much for black cod. Five minutes is too long to cook the side without skin, I suggest 2-3 minutes just til it starts to brown. Mine was too dark. I added about a teaspoon of cornstarch (in just a little water) to the marinade once it began to boil to thicken it. I saved the left over Sauce to use in a stir-fry later this week!
