    meh. it's okay. not a favorite but it wasn't too bad. would I make it again in the future? probably. will it be added into my recipe book? no. takes a little too long for just a side dish. it took more than 1 tsp of brown sugar to get the caramelized onion sweeter to balance the bitterness of the brussel sprouts in my opinion.

    way too much salt. I didnt use as much, probably 1/2, and it was still too much. Actually had to rinse off the sprouts with warm water and reheat to make edible. Still, ok after all that, not great tho. won't be reusing this recipe.

    I ended up adding a little chicken broth with the Brussels sprouts to help soften them the whole family loved them!
