- 5 strips bacon (thick cut works best)
- 2 cans chicken broth (beef works too)

- 1 onion (chopped)
- 4 red potatoes (large, roughly cubed, leave skins on)
- 5 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 dash italian seasoning
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1 bunch kale
