Ingredients

  • pie dough (Unsweetened, purchased or homemade)
  • 1 boiled potato (removed from a stew)
  • 1/4 cabbage (boiled, removed from a stew)
  • 1/2 sausage (cooked, removed from a stew)
  • 3 eggs
  • 60 milliliters whipping cream
  • salt (to taste)
  • 1 cup manchego cheese (grated)

    Directions

    1. Preheat the oven to 190 Celsius.
    2. Roll out the dough and place into a pie pan. Bake for 10 minutes, weighted.
    3. Chop the potato, sausage, and cabbage and place into the pie pan.
    4. Beat the eggs together with the cream, adding 4 pinches of salt. Pour over the stewed vegetables and meat. Sprinkle with cheese.
    5. Bake until golden brown. Remove from oven and cool slightly before serving.
