Sausage & Peppers



  • 3 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
  • 1 pound sweet italian sausage links, cut into
  • 3 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion (medium, cut into 1-inch chunks)
  • 1 lipton recipe secrets savory herb with garlic soup mix
  • 1 cup water
  • hoagies or rolls (or italian rolls)

    1. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat and brown sausage, turning frequently; drain. Remove sausage and set aside.
    2. Heat remaining 2 tablespoons olive oil in same skillet over medium heat and cook green peppers and onion, stirring frequently, 10 minutes or until tender. Stir in Lipton® Recipe Secrets® Savory Herb with Garlic Soup Mix blended with water. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and return sausage to skillet. Simmer 5 minutes or until sausage is done. Serve on rolls.
