    I added unseasoned, baked chicken thighs instead of sausage to lower the sodium; and added biscuits to the bottom of the dish to make it more filling. Additionally, I incorporated Italian herbs, 1 teaspoon salt, 3/4 teaspoon pepper. Allowed it to soak for 15 min. An excellent breakfast hot or cold.
