I browned the short ribs in the instant pot and then added the other ingredients. It was delicious!

Like my Mom used to make. No one in the house likes it but me so I enjoy several meals from it. Keeps a few days in the fridge no problem. I do add some apple chopped with the skin, about size of chopped onion. Sometimes I add 2 T of brown sugar. I t just takes a little of the bite off
the skraut. Depends how you like it.so easy to make..Just put the pork in and other ingredients..put salt and pepper on it..bake. I bake half with foil on and then without to brown the meat. I love it!
