Excellent- I keep a 5 lb. bag of these on hand for Funeral Bereavement Luncheons at my church. They are usually “gone in 60 seconds.”

I mixed a small portion of the sauce into the ground beef itself. Helps with distributing the flavors into the inside of the meatball instead of just on the outside

Very very good. Didn’t use hoisin sauce but used Traeger Asian barbecue sauce and put them on top of Pad Thai noodles

Husband and 2yr old LOVED this meal!! The only thing I did differently was I browned the meatballs before putting them in the oven covered with some of the sauce for 10mins and then 5mins uncovered. I paired it with large egg noodles (easy for my son to eat) and broccoli which I seasoned with butter, minced garlic and hoisin garlic sauce. Note: for the Asian sauce I substituted the hoisin sauce for a garlic hoisin sauce, we really love garlic in this house :) and I used seasoned breadcrumbs as we are not fans of panko

Top tip, make them 1 3/4 inches in diameter, after 15 mins spoon over the sauce - just enough to cover each ball, then pop back into the oven on 150 Celsius - you can repeat this process a few times, and the result is an extra sticky meat ball. Add some honey to the sauce for extra caramelisation - perfect with egg fried rice - enjoy !!!

I made these last night for dinner, and we ate them on top of a bed of rice with the sauce poured over it all. Big hit with my picky family, and that's saying something! Will definitely make these again...I did add some red pepper flakes to the meatballs and to the sauce for an extra zip, and it wasn't too spicy.

I made this today to bring to a party and they turned out great!! I added a LOT of fresh ginger and a ton of garlic to the meatballs and a little extra sesame oil. Yum! Glad I made a big batch because we have been enjoying them since they came out of the oven. Sauce is delicious too!

Great recipe! Whole family loved the sauce and meatballs. I kept the sauce on the side for dipping just in case the little ones didn't like it but they all loved it! Would be good with a little orange zest in it too! Paired with jasmine rice this was excellent.
