Disaster. And I used full fat coconut milk from a can, not a thinned, commercial one from a carton. Way too thin. After two minutes simmering I threw in another 1/4 cup coconut and 1T coconut flour and another minute thickened it up better, but it could have used another minute still. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry so I plopped them onto the cookie sheet, with liquid spreading out, put them in the over for 10, then 12 minutes, and still they ran together, still they mushed when I tried to get them off. They're now in the freezer for a few minutes. Tried to find a vegan macaroons recipe for someone at the party and I know better than to make a new recipe without allowing time for my own adjustments. They taste good but are very sweet (I used 4 syrup and 2 honey) and the directions, execution and results are quite different from the proposed expectations. I'll try a different recipe next time
