I love the idea and thought it would be a nice balance of sweet and salty, but the caramel is overly sweet for my taste. My partner on the other hand loved it! This was my first time making toffee and it came out more like honeycomb candy than toffee. I would try this recipe again. Maybe add more pretzels and more sea salt to balance the sweetness from the toffee.

I was worried about the chocolate burning but this is so easy and less messy and no stirring constantly to keep the morsels from burning. My kids loved helping me with this one and hope I make more for christmas with them.
