- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1/8 cup caramel sauce
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 Tbsp. lime zest (I zested an entire small lime)

- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup butter (melted)
- caramel sauce (recipe found below)
- coarse salt (or sea salt)
