- 10 peppers (chile guajillo, lightly roasted, then boiled and soaked for 5 min each, these are mild.)
- 2 chili (de arbol tostado, if you can't buy them toasted you will have to toast them yourself these are very hot)
- 3 char (large roma tomatoes, roasted on all sides use the oven for this)
- 1/2 white onion (skin on, well roasted)
- 6 cloves roasted garlic (skin on)
- 2 tsp. salt (adjust to your taste)
- 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar (apples)
- 15 stems cilantro (optional)
- 1/4 tsp. chili powder (careful with this can make it bitter real easy, optional)
- 1/4 cup water (to get the consistency you want)
