  • 2 salmon fillets (broiled, boiled/steamed, baked or cooked in any other way, or same amount of canned salmon)
  • 4 tablespoons finely chopped onions (very, or green onions)
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (grated)
  • 3 tablespoons chopped parsley (or cilantro, or whatever herb you like)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds (lightly roasted, crushed, optional)
  • freshly ground black pepper (I used a lot)
  • salt
  • 1 slice bread (the edges removed, wholegrain/white)
  • 7 saltine crackers (or about 4-5 tablespoons of bread crumbs wholegrain, coarsely powdered)
