Well, a 14.75 oz. can of Salmon made barely 9, 2 oz. patties. Mind you, these are for appetizers only and not enough for a meal alone. Drain off any liquid. Leave the smaller bones in for calcium and just mash them thoroughly. I left the egg white which might make the patty bind better. I added red bell pepper. I did not have duck fat which sounds really yummy but instead, I used a healthier option for me and that is Avocado oil with a pad of butter to brown. They tasted good! I left one star off due to the misinformation on how many meal size patties this would make.

For canned salmon, this meal was very good easy to put together. I always just fried the cakes, but I think putting them in oven and then a quick fry is worth the time and effort.

Incredible! They were sooooo good and easy to make. My husband raved about them. Instead of putting them in the oven, i just fried them in a pan with 2 heaping tbsp of coconut oil instead of duck far. Cooked them about 4-5 minutes on each side. They came out perfectly.

These were so good! I doubled the recipe and still had less yield than I expected, so be aware when planning to feed a crowd- but everyone loved them, even if it was only a couple oz of fish a person. Will make again!

Yum, lots of flavor! Used canned salmon without bones and skin. Next time will make with less paprika, and will leave the salt out if the mix. Overall delicious! Will definitely be making this again.

I'm not a very experienced cook, so my first task here was getting over the skin and bones from the canned salmon. After that, these were great! husband liked them and he doesn't like salmon!

I didn't have enough salmon, so mixed in a can of tuna. It turned out wonderful. I will be making it again today, but all salmon this time.

A little extra paprika and some red pepper flakes made this recipe taste better. Also serve with tartar sauce and lemon wedge
