- 1/3 cup cream of mushroom soup (straight from the can, undiluted, I use Campbell’s, from a 10 3/4 oz. can, *rest is used for the gravy)
- 1/4 cup French onion soup (straight from the can, undiluted, I use Campbell’s, from a 10 1/2 oz. can, *make sure use spoon out a fairly even amount of liquid to onions, *rest is used for the gravy)
- 2/3 cup dry breadcrumbs (seasoned)
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/16 tsp. onion powder
- 1 large egg (extra-, lightly beaten)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. steak sauce (A-1)
- 1/2 tsp. worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. coarse ground black pepper (*plus more for tops)
- 10.5 oz. beef (1 can, Consommé, yep, Campbell’s)
- 1/2 Tbsp. red wine
- 1 tsp. sauce (browning)
- 1/2 tsp. worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 tsp. coarse ground black pepper
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/16 tsp. onion powder
- 8 oz. cremini mushrooms (pkg. fresh sliced)
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. cold water
- 1 bunch fresh asparagus (large, using tips only,, or 1 medium bunch using all, cut up)
- 1 lb. egg noodles (half, or bit more, bag wide dumpling)
