Delicious! This recipe is the legit S.O.S. served in every military base my dad was stationed at. He would take me every Saturday for breakfast and this would alway be served on toast with hash browns. If you’re looking for chipped beef & gravy, keep looking. Substituting cornstarch for flour produces the wrong consistency for this gravy.

it was kind of bland. Needs salt, fresh garlic and a little more worchestshire.

Jennifer I always use cornstarch instead of flour. Doesn't leave any after taste, just mix a couple tbls with some cold water and add slowly to the milk as it starts to boil whisk quickly and add as much as you need to thickness you desire, also I serve this over boiled or mashed potatoes instead of bread and my mom always used chipped beef.

good plus my husband liked how i made it with ground chicken instead of ground beef.
