My mom used this exact recipe when I was a little girl, and now as an adult, I still use it. 45+ years, the same recipe. They turn out perfect every single time. Wouldn’t be Christmas in my family without these.

The taste is fine, but the dough was too loose to keep a ball form. Somethings missing from this recipe, and I followed it completely.

Made it several times, I added lemon zest and a couple drops of lemon juice, adds a ton to the flavour. There’s very little you can do to ruin this recipe, feel free to try anything you can think of.
