    Some of us liked this and others did not. I was a fan but I think I'll try Dr. Pepper or Pepsi next time. The biggest complaint from the ones that didn't like it was they didn't like the root beer taste. I honestly didn't taste a whole lot of the root beer flavor myself. It just tasted like a sweet BBQ with a hint of root beer. I guess if you don't mind the flavor of root beer in the meat then you'll probably like this!

    Yummy! Everyone loved it! I made coleslaw on the side. It was great.

    I added a tbsp of root beer extract because I love the slight taste of root beer. One can of soda really makes the meat tender and sweet. It turned out awesome especially for this 4th of July weekend. We made sandwiches and added grilled pineapple on top soooo good! So easy will use this recipe again !!!
