I was pressed for time, so I made it an instant pot recipe by browning the meat and onions together, then throwing everything else in and pressure-cooking it for 30min. I also used dry black beans, so I added more water to compensate. I didn’t need all the extra water, but it was only a little runnier that preferable. Also, I didn’t emersion blend the potatoes since I threw everything in with the meat to cook. I just mashed the potatoes at the end, and it turned out ok.

I can't thank you enough for this. We love chili, but I can't eat tomatoes any more. I happened to have some sweet potatoes so thought I would give it a try. My husband and I both love it. It just gets better and better every day. The only addition for me was Ga-ram Marsala spice. It gives it heat plus a cinnamon kick that is perfect. Will be making this all the time.

Really tasty. Blending the potatoes used up all the liquid so I had to top up with more broth so next time might put more in at the start. Definitely one to make again!

Perfect (after I doubled and tripled all the spices! I like my beans softer so I cook it all a bit longer on the stove, have even transferred to crock pot for a few hours (undercooking the meat in the beginning as to not over cook). Great recipe
