  • 10 stalks fresh asparagus (or more)

  • fresh ground black pepper (for seasoning salad if desired)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons stone ground mustard
  • 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
