- 2 garlic cloves (finely chopped, i use smoked garlic which is amazing)
- 6 tomatoes (quartered)
- 900 mL chicken stock (i use ready made but if you have the book refer to page 248)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- salt
- pepper
