- 10.5 oz. grape tomatoes (carton of organic, or about 2 cups)
- 1 red bell pepper (sliced)
- 4 large garlic cloves
- 1 red onion (sliced)
- 1 tsp. dried thyme leaves
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. cumin
- 2 Tbsp. nutritional yeast
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves (packed, or a good handful, adjust to your taste, do not omit, really completes the sauce!)
- sea salt
- pepper
- 8 oz. gluten (free brown rice pasta, I used about half of a 16 oz bag)
- 1 bag pasta (will soak up every bit of sauce, so use less pasta for more sauce and flavor if you prefer.)
