- 1 bunch asparagus (tough ends discarded)
- 10 cloves garlic (about 1 head of garlic)
- 1/2 onion (large, sliced)
- 2 cups nettles (fresh stinging, Be sure to use gloves while handling so you don't get stung. If you don't have access to fresh nettles, you can use about 3/4-1 cup of dried nettles.)
- 1 1/2 qt. bone broth
- sea salt
- pepper
- 1 bowl soup (fresh raw cream or coconut milk to stir in, optional)
- chives (Optional freshly chopped, to garnish)
