- 1 onion (halved)
- 8 slices turkey bacon (sliced into 1 inch pieces)
- 3 lb. potatoes (thinly sliced)
- 5/16 cup butter
- 5/16 cup all purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- salt
- pepper
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 Tbsp. mustard (whole grain coarse)
- 3 cups cheddar cheese (grated)
