This pork shoulder takes a little time and planning ahead, but is easy to make and allows for chores or leisure in between. Marinated in an orange and bay leaf marinade for two hours and slow cooked to perfection, this pork shoulder has a unique flavor that is sure to please.

  • 1 pork shoulder
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 oranges (juice)
  • olive oil
  • 2 onions (chopped)
  • 6 parsley sprigs (chopped)
  • 6 garlic cloves (sliced)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • salt
  • 1 beer (black)

    Directions

    1. Make deep cuts in one side of the pork shoulder.
    2. Mix all the ingredients for the marinade, except the beer, in a bowl. Mix well.
    3. Add the pork shoulder, and rub marinade into flesh. Cover the bowl, and marinate for 2 hours.
