- 1 celery stalk (roughly chopped)
- 1 lemon (sliced)
- 1 orange (sliced)
- 3 sprigs fresh marjoram
- 3 sprigs fresh thyme
- 1 oz. unsalted butter (at room temperature)
- 4 oz. unsalted butter (8 tablespoons / 1 stick, melted)
- 2 onions (small, roughly chopped)
- 1 carrot (roughly chopped)
- 1 stalk celery (roughly chopped)
- 3 sprigs fresh herbs (any you have left will work)
- 1 cup water (+ more as needed)
