- fig jam (Store bought, I use this kind.)
- 8 oz. ricotta (or about 1 tablespoon per piece, the less processed the better, part skim is ok.)
- 1/2 garlic clove
- 1 Tbsp. fresh thyme leaves
- 1/2 lemon
- 2 tsp. olive oil (or butter, or enough to coat the pan)
- 1 yellow onion (sliced very thin)
- 1 tsp. balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp. agave syrup (or honey or sugar of choice)
- 1 pinch salt
