    Great base... I used more cheese butter and garlic. It was a hit at a family pot luck .

    This is an excellent recipe although I did use Swiss cheese instead of Gruyere due to the cost. I also like onions and garlic in my scalloped potatoes, but the recipe is a great one and you can modify it if you wish to your liking.
