- 2/3 cup maple syrup (you can use 1/2 cup if you want less sugar)
- 1/4 tsp. canela
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 cans unsweetened coconut milk (full fat)
- 2 tsp. arrowroot (or cornstarch)
- 1 cup pistachios (chopped, more or less depending on how chunky you'd like it)
- 1 ice cream (David Lebowitz, the, master has instructions on how to make ice cream without an ice cream maker, but you need to have some serious arm muscles.)
