- 1/2 cup juice (pickled pepper)
- 2 Tbsp. italian dressing mix
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. minced garlic (or garlic powder)
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 cup cooking liquid (the red wine, from the roast)
- 2 Tbsp. bacon grease (beef fat, or butter)
- 2 Tbsp. all purpose flour
