So is a cake I will keep on file.
It made a great birthday cake for a mother-in-law born on Christmas.
Nice flavor and a soft texture. I was worried about under baking and left it in a few extra minutes until the center didn’t move, but I came close to over baking it. Next time I will take it out at 30 minutes.
I used two 8” pans and the result was a two-layer cake that was 3 1/2” high with frosting.
