- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg (powder)
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 2 eggs (at room temperature)
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. butter extract
- 1/3 cup yogurt (plain or greek)
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 1/4 cups raisins (some more to sprinkle on top)

I doubled the recipe and was glad I did as the baking instructions are a little weird. It says to bake the bread for 30 minutes then take the bread out of the pan and wrap it in tin foil for another 30 minutes. When I did this with the first loaf it flopped and uncooked batter went everywhere. I left the second load in the pan and it turned out fine. So if you do make this just ignore this weird step.
