  • 2 1/2 tablespoons margarine
  • 1/2 cup self-rising flour (sifted)
  • 1 ounce Raisin Bran Cereal
  • 3/4 cup skim milk
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon
  • raspberry jam (to serve)

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly coat a baking tray with oil.
    2. Cut margarine into flour. Add cereal. Add milk and mix until combined. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead lightly. Shape into a 2/3 inch thick disc. Cut into wedges, transfer to prepared pan and bake for 15-20 mins, or until golden brown.
    3. Meanwhile, combine honey and cinnamon. Brush over hot scones.
    4. Serve scones warm with raspberry jam.
