Taste was fine-to-okay. My son thought it tasted like Old el Paso taco mix in a pasta—not a put down, but nothing that wowed the family. So three stars. But minus one because the recipe needs to be more specific. “Broiler on high” = how many degrees, even roughly? “Transfer to a baking dish” = how big a dish am I going to need? “…place under the broiler to lightly brown.” = how many minutes, roughly?

This was really good, I think I used too much cheese, and next time I will add more tomatoes and cilantro. But excellent!

Great taste, although I didn’t have sharp cheddar. Still good with a mexican 4-cheese blend. Only had a tsp of chili powder so added Arbol and chipotle powder to make up the difference, pretty spicy. I loved it, my ladies lips were on 🔥 😆. But she said it was a good fire 👍

It was absolutely delicious!! A big crowd pleaser at our home that will be added to our recipe book!!

This dish is now a family favorite with a few tweaks. I seasoned the meal with salt throughout (pasta water, beef mixture, & cheese sauce). I used 2lbs of ground beef and 2 cans of tomatoes. My husband requested motz, so I layered it and then topped it with cheddar… Delicious!!!

The whole family loved it! Subbed Rotel Original with Green Chiles and skipped the jalapeños. Also used shredded Mexican blend cheese and shell pasta. Added 1 1/2 teaspoons salt. Topped with same cheese. Garnished with sliced avocado and spicy dried red chiles. Definitely a meal to make again, and I’m even happier because it was so easy.

Reall good and it wasn’t to hard to make I feel like maybe it was a bit too much onion but overall really good. I would recommend.

Little reward for so much prep. Pretty bland. Not much different than your normal pasta bakes.

This was PERFECT! I substituted heavy cream for the milk because I had it & didn’t want it to go bad. That was the BEST decision EVER!!! DEFINITELY a new regular for us!

It’s good but feels like something is missing?? I made it exactly as written. Maybe a spicy cheese would liven it up?. Husband and daughter both liked it a lot so I will make again with some tweaks.

Turned out great. Easy to make. I baked it instead of broiling it. Otherwise make it by the recipe. Will make again.

It turned out alright! I added corn to it and rotel instead of the roasted tomatoes. Would have been so boring without the corn.

We did things a little different. We used slightly less cheese, angel hair pasta (which was cut into pieces about 3/4 of an inch long), Bison instead of beef, used two cans of diced tomatoes with green Chile, used a green Chile instead of a jalapeño, and skipped on the coriander. Once we served it, we had sour cream and salsa verde for the top. It was delicious! We loved it. I could definitely see adding corn and black beans to this.
