Amazing dish. I added a little more paprika, cumin and tumeric. My partner loved it. We had it with flatbreads and salad

Very good! Made a “salad” of cucumber, tomato, onion, chickpeas with lemon juice, vinegar, olive oil, and seasonings to go on it in the wrap. Would be really good with feta and/or tzatiki & hummus too.

Sooo yummy! Made it with rice and veggies the first night, and had leftovers in a pita with easy chopped Mediterranean salsa (tomatoes, cucumber, onions, lemon, vinegar, oil..). Making it again!

Absolutely amazing! I didn’t change anything. I served it over rice but next time I might try pita because I’m sure it’d be great!

Turned out great. The whole family liked it including the fussy eater. I used chicken thigh, and one chicken breast (for the fussy one) and all went well. I marinated overnight. Next time I’ll use the exact amount of chilli, as I did cut it back just in case it was too spicy for us. Definite crown pleaser, and will be a regular meal going forward.

Very very tasty!! I love the spice mixture but doubled the amount for more flavor. So glad I did, it was amazing!

I have a habit of reading a recipe and then just making it by memory . This time I confused two recipes and accidentally added chilies and Greek yogurt to the marinade. It was outstanding. I’m sure it would have been great without these also. The kids and wife honked it up. I assume they liked it also.

Great recipe - I sub a bunch of frozen stir-fry veggies, use boneless, skinless chicken & add a hummus dip for a quick, healthy meal for my young family of 5!

All Day!!! Followed the recipe exactly. Kids loved it with nan bread. Add tzatziki too if you like. Everything marinated in a Ziplock bag so there’s only one dirty sheet pan to clean- unless you use foil or parchment then practically no clean up!

So good! Made it with a side of brown rice with broccoli mixed in. Made a bowl of the rice/broccoli, topped with the chicken shawarma and a little of the c
shawarma juices poured over. Loved it!

Ended up marinating for 2 days due to a scheduling snafu. Used boneless skinless breast because my family is anti-thigh for some reason. Very flavorful and juicy, though a little peppery for my kids. Not sure if it was the two days or the 2 tsp. I’ll cut both I half next time and see what happens.

I used boneless/skinless chicken thighs. I made the marinade, pit the chicken in it and then life had other plans. Fast forward two days. I finally got to bake the chicken and wow, I thought it was spectacular! S/O on the other hand asked what was in it and I told him. He said it was "flavorful" like that was a bad thing. Beat the heck out of chicken seasoned with season salt and some pepper.

This dish was very tasty. I wasn’t sure about the cinnamon, but the flavor was good. I will make this again. We served it with roasted asparagus and potatoes.

This recipe has lots of flavor but my family felt it was too lemony and a tad dry. The dryness may be cooks error though so I don't want to blame that on the recipe.
