Description
This is a simple one pot recipe that is actually low fat! (Don't tell). I make it mild and place hot sauce on the table so everyone can enjoy. It goes great with grilled cheese sandwiches or cornbread.
Ingredients

- 1 lb. lean ground beef (96% lean 4% fat, or use less lean and drain the fat)
- 32 oz. tomato sauce (can of)
- 1 can chili (Bush's Best, Hot Beans -Mild, or any pinto beans)
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic (diced)
- 1 tsp. cumin

Directions
- In a large soup pot, brown the ground beef with the seasonings, onion and garlic
- Add half of the can of beans (I like my chili meaty)
- Add the can of tomato sauce.
- Simmer for about 15 min. then serve. Top with cheese and sour cream or for low fat top with diced tomatoes, onions, and cilantro.
