I saw this on tv and it definitely doesn’t take 16 minutes, but it was tasty. I added sautéed shrimp to the pasta that I seasoned with kosher salt, pepper, garlic powder and lemon pepper. After Sauteeing, I took the shrimp out of the pan and set it aside. Then in the same pan, I sautéed the veggies. I didn’t chop up the peppers before blending them. Once I combined everything that was puréed, I added some kosher salt and pepper and some garlic powder. Make sure to cook the pasta for a minute or two beyond the 12 minutes on the package. It was a bit too al dente for our liking. Overall, this is a very tasty dish.

Adding the cream was amazing. It softened up the peppers but still left the flavour. I’ll do it again and so should you.
