This is the 1st time using this recipe and it turned out great. I have a couple other delicious recipes that are lil more time consuming with more steps and items involved, but this one was perfect for the time I had available and the amount I was wanting to fix. The directions and steps are really easy. For the pudding mixture, using the paddle attachment on my mixer, I added 8oz cream cheese (softened) and beat it with the sweetened condensed milk first to get that smooth consistency for the cream cheese, then I slowly added in the Banana Cream pudding (instead of vanilla), along with slowly adding the milk, until it was smooth. I put it in the frig to set up a bit, while I was getting the dish ready and slicing bananas; it didn’t take long for it to set, then I folded in a 1/2 of the cool whip until it regained the smooth and creamy spreadable texture. I layered the pudding as directed, then added more banana slices the middle and nila wafers around the edges. Topped it with remaining cool whip and crumbled wafers 😋 The pudding mixture tasted light, fluffy and not overly sweet. Will definitely be using this recipe again!
