Very easy & added some pickling spice & fennel seeds!! Also I used leek bulbs from my friends garden!

They turned out great. I usually do this with my cucumbers. But I had such an abundance of red onion I didn’t want them to go bad. So I brined them. After two days I partially drained most of them, placed them into freezer ziplocs & froze them for future use. I do this with my cucumbers also so I always have them ready when I make my German style cucumbers. Yummly Yummy!!

These are great. I usually have a jar of them in the fridge. Once you have a jar going, you can stretch them further by adding onion leftover from other recipes to the brine, which also helps reduce food waste.
