- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1/4 cup salt
- 1 head garlic
- 2 onions (sliced)
- 2 spices (slightly heaped teaspoons of your favorite, coriander seeds, cumin, caraway, turmeric, mustard seeds, black peppercorns, bay leaf, red pepper flakes or dried peppers)
