- freshly ground black pepper (or red pepper flakes, to taste)
- 1 1/2 cups chickpeas (cooked, from one 15-ounce can, drained and rinsed)
- 1/2 cup ditalini pasta (uncooked, or another small shape; I use annelini)
- 2 cups boiling water
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil (estimate 1 per serving)
- 1 clove garlic (peeled and finely chopped)
- 1 tsp. fresh rosemary (minced)

I wasn't expecting much with this recipe, with so few ingredients and so easy, but it was sooooo flavorful!!! I did add onion at the beginning with the garlic and finished it off with some spinach and topped with parmesan. I also did not have fresh rosemary but used a 1/4 teaspoon dry with success. This definitely will go on a regular recipe rotation!
