- 2 Tbsp. pickling salt
- 2 garlic cloves (peeled, per jar)
- 1/4 tsp. red peppers (crushed, per jar)
- 1 tsp. dill seed (per jar)
- 1/2 tsp. black peppercorns (per jar)
- 1/3 red pepper (sliced, per jar, optional, but sure looks pretty)
- 1 stem fresh dill (per jar, optional also, but does add an extra bit of dill taste)
