- 2 Tbsp. cilantro (minced for matzo balls, plus more for garnish)
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 matzo ball mix (pouch Lipton Kosher)
- 3 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp. kosher salt (divided, plus more to taste)
- 1/2 large onion (1/2 cup, diced)
- 2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp. chile powder
- 1/2 tsp. cracked black pepper
- 3 1/2 cups pumpkin flesh (cooked pureed, this is coincidentally the amount in a 15 oz can)
- 3 cups vegetable broth (or chicken works too)
- 2 Tbsp. cream (totally optional)
- 1 lemon (small, 2 tablespoons)
- Greek yogurt (can be parve)
