- 3/4 tsp. salt (such as good quality sea salt)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups chopped pecans (roughly)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 12 Tbsp. unsalted butter (1 1/2 sticks)
- 4 oz. cream cheese (1/2 block)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/3 cup caramel sauce (from recipe above, or good quality store-bought, see notes)
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
