    These were quite tasty! I modified a few things as follows because I was looking to use leftover pie pumpkin from pumpkin pie. Used 1.5 cups pumpkin mush instead of can Grated a small apple for applesauce sub Used cinnamon/cloves/nutmeg in lieu of allspice because I did not have (probably too much clove as a result. Would just skip allspice if I did not have again as all these sub spices are in recipe already) Added 1/3 cup raisins since my wife likes. Added splash of milk to batter to compensate for loss of moisture due to grated apple for applesauce. I did end up with lots of extra streusel. Now gave to find another streusel recipe! Yummy!

    I used fresh pumpkin so I had to add an extra 5 minutes to the time very yummy

    Very tasty! The consistency of these muffins was spot on, but the crumble topping directions are a bit off. I'd really like to perfect the crumble, but I wasn't sure how to adjust. Any suggestions?

    These were perfect! Not to dry and the apple sauce was great. I had to add just pinch more flour but I also used fresh puree. A recipe to keep for a long time.

    Yes, very good muffins, love pumpkin and strudel !! Of course I would make this again.... Very delicious!
